Life's advice from a girl who's living, dreaming, and struggling through it all.
Sometimes, the little things in life are the ones you should be cherishing. After all, the greatest gifts come in small packages, right? Take a step back from this busy world and watch the place and people around you. Put your priorities straight - know what and who you want in your life, because the things worth the most to you will stay by your side. Originally, I was worried about a friend who was having a hard time. Everything had crashed down, and even keeping hope was nearly impossible. After a few posts, I began to realize how much I wanted to touch more people with my words, and to show how much there is to this world. So here it is...

I lack self-confidence, I can't seem to move on from the past, and I'm often terrified of life...but that's just me. I didn't necessarily stumble upon your blog, well, technically I did, but ...I have no idea how to say this...O.O I love reading these kinds of blogs, they really brighten up my life :D I know how most guys prefer to waste away their time with video games, but I prefer to read things that make me appreciate life :D So thank you, Kelley, you've helped :P Anywayz...back to the original topic, I found your blog while searching through a friend's facebook page's friends, if that even makes any sense. ReplyDeleteor what about being too mixed up in my own thoughts and emotions? what about crashing down and not even having enough confidence be able to give advice when i need it myself? what about looking for someone else to lean on, cheer ME up, and finding nothing but loneliness? i'm sorry, but my life is really cloudy right now. i don't know what to do anymore. leaving is your choice, but just to let you know, my life is nowhere near perfection.

ReplyDeleteHaha, looks like my plan worked :P I wanted to find out how your life was doing. Apparently it really is cloudy as you can't even discern your friends from strangers. I realize this must sound absurdly silly coming from a guy who "supposedly" is a sophomore who lives close to your school. But please believe me, I've BEEN trying to cheer you up. Although I may or may not be that person you can always lean on, I will always be there to comfort you and provide company.
